Method 15/33 by Shannon Kirk

Method 15/33Method 15/33 by Shannon Kirk
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This wasn't a very long story, but a lot was packed into it. I read this in around 2 hours.

Because its such a short read I would be giving too much away if I tell more. So I'll just tell you what I thought.

It was a good concept of a story, but it reminded me of something else I read recently or watched on TV.
Not in its entire pages, but a similar story nevertheless.

The guy was weird.

The girl was getting on my nerves.

I know there was fear, but...
I know she was 16, but...

THEN I found out what a complex girl she was and how her 'mind' ticked which was unlike the "usual" [that's all I'm saying]

It altered by take on the story then.

Did I like it? YES
Would I recommend it? YES

If you've not read a similar story as this, and even if you have....its still interesting because the characters were good.

Thank you to Oceanview Publishing for my copy to review, I appreciate it along with the author Shannon Kirk.

Imagine a helpless, pregnant 16-year-old who's just been yanked from the serenity of her home and shoved into a dirty van. Kidnapped Alone Terrified.

Now forget her

Picture instead a pregnant, 16-year-old, manipulative prodigy. She is shoved into a dirty van and, from the first moment of her kidnapping, feels a calm desire for two things: to save her unborn son and to exact merciless revenge.

She is methodical calculating scientific in her plotting. A clinical sociopath? Leaving nothing to chance, secure in her timing and practice, she waits for the perfect moment to strike. "Method 15/33" is what happens when the victim is just as cold as the captors.

The agents trying to find a kidnapped girl have their own frustrations and desires wrapped into this chilling drama. In the twists of intersecting stories, one is left to ponder. Who is the victim? Who is the aggressor? "
