Tempting Fate by Jane Green

Tempting FateTempting Fate by Jane Green
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

How great this author is, she never fails her readers.

This story is realistic, it could happen to could happen to could happen to anyone.

A woman very much in love with her husband, raising children together. As children grow, she feels life is passing her by. When we are at home and doing housework chores, taking care of hubby, taking care of the children, the house, doing the shopping etc etc sometimes we feel that although we are doing a worthwhile job, things go unnoticed. Its nice to be noticed, its great to feel a woman, to be desired and desirable.....this is where Matt comes in. WHOOPSIE for her.

Extra marital affairs never work. Something always goes wrong and everyone is hurt.

Jane Green weaves a tale of understanding although we know this is wrong. She brings the characters to life.

I was so hung on this book today I've got nothing done since I came home from the shops. I had to read this in one sitting.

I would like to thank St. Martin's Press for allowing me to read this book and review it.

Number one bestselling author Jane Green gives a powerful portrayal of a marriage rocked by betrayal in the stunning Tempting Fate.

When Gabby first met Elliott she knew he was the man for her. In twenty years of marriage she has never doubted her love for him - even when he refused to give her the one thing she still wants most of all. But now their two daughters are growing up Gabby feels that time and her youth are slipping away. For the first time in her life she is restless. And then she meets Matt . . .

Intoxicated by the way this young, handsome and successful man makes her feel, Gabby is momentarily blind to what she stands to lose on this dangerous path. And in one reckless moment she destroys all that she holds dear.

Consumed by regret, Gabby does everything she can to repair the home she has broken. But are some betrayals too great to forgive?
