Leap of Faith by Michele Shriver

Leap of FaithLeap of Faith by Michele Shriver
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I hadn't read the previous lead up to this book, so although I sort of jumped in at the deep end, it was still fine. I would have liked to have known the previous history but still enjoyed this lovely book.

Michele Shriver, I have a couple of her books that I intended to 'get around to reading' but never did. I joined a blog tour and agreed to read and review this book. I don't know why I've waited such a long time to read her other books because going on this one, I am sure to enjoy them.

This kept me interested practically all day. I loved the chemistry between the two of them. Although I could guess what would happen, it still didn't take away the enjoyment of my reading.

I was shocked at who became the power of attorney though. That was a turn up for the books, but I later understood why.

At first based around her Mother who is severely ill in hospital, on her death bed really, no one knowing if she is going to survive or not, that kept me riveted.

Loved the book, highly recommended.

Single mother Tracey Hiatt prides herself on having a close relationship with her daughter- the kind of relationship she’s always wanted, but never had, with her own mother.
When her mother suffers a debilitating illness and faces a lengthy recovery, family takes on a whole new meaning for Tracey as she finds herself pulled back to her ex, Steve Eldridge. There’s only one problem: he’s involved with someone else.
Steve is drawn back into Tracey’s family drama and after her mother awakens from a coma believing he and Tracey are married, the two are forced to confront some fundamental questions about their relationship.
Can they put past hurts behind them and take a leap of faith into a new future together?
