Ivy Lane: Complete story by Cathy Bramley

Ivy Lane: Complete storyIvy Lane: Complete story by Cathy Bramley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This was another refreshing read for me, as I've been reading a lot of psychological thrillers lately.

This is a quaint little story about a lovely girl named Tilly. She needs a fresh start and to do this, she needs a new town to move into.
Hence Ivy Lane.

Seeking to do something with her time she takes on an allotment.

Trying to keep herself to herself is hard in Ivy Lane as its a friendly community who like nothing else but welcome people with open arms.

Soon Tilly is drawn right in.

As too was I !

Cathy Bramley has written a lovely story, light, flows well, a real 'chill out' read. I loved it.

*I would like to thank Random House UK, Transworld Publishers and the author via Net Galley for allowing me to read and review this wonderfully written book*

Tilly Parker needs a fresh start, fresh air and a fresh attitude if she is ever to leave the past behind and move on with her life. As she seeks out peace and quiet in a new town, taking on a plot at Ivy Lane allotments seems like the perfect solution.

But the friendly Ivy Lane community has other ideas and gradually draw Tilly in to their cosy, comforting world of planting seedlings, organizing bake sales and planning seasonal parties.

As the seasons pass, will Tilly learn to stop hiding amongst the sweetpeas and let people back into her life – and her heart?
