The Long Shadow: A Novel by Liza Marklund

The Long Shadow: A NovelThe Long Shadow: A Novel by Liza Marklund
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I received this from Random House UK, Transworld Publishers via Net Galley for an honest review

I read the previous book to this and enjoyed it, read it some time ago so when I saw this one needing reviews I knew I would love it.

I read this just before Christmas and forgot to add my review!

This book joins up where the other book left some strings hanging loose, so I was able to piece things nicely together.

The details of Italy was lovely too and felt at times I was there.

This is quite a climatic book and sucks you in and spits you out.

Highly recommended you read the previous book.

A violent robbery has killed an entire family on the Costa Del Sol.

Annika Bengtzon is assigned to cover the story for the Evening Post. But when she arrives in Spain she discovers there was a third child – a teenage daughter – who is unaccounted for.

Annika makes it her mission to find the missing girl. But as she delves into the mystery she becomes embroiled in a far darker side of Spanish life than she’d envisioned, as she begins to piece together a terrifying story of violence, abuse and murder
