Glittering Promises by Lisa Tawn Bergren

Glittering Promises (Grand Tour, #3)Glittering Promises by Lisa Tawn Bergren
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I was given this book to read by David C Cook Via Net Galley.

I haven't read the previous books in this series so I was at a disadvantage. If I had realized it was part of a series I would not have read this until reading the previous books.

I can only judge on what I read in this one.

The book was slow to start with, I guessed that was because I was trying to join things together from the previous books. After getting the gist of things, I began slowing piecing the story together.

I found the authors writing very good and easy to follow. I would read one of her books again, but definitely if it were a series, I'd have to read from book 1. This is definitely not a stand alone book.

Its a rags to riches kind of read, and erring on the side of a Christian standing, but its not full on so I loved that.

I can't say more than that, as so many reviewers have already said a lot, and I'm a bit late in adding my review.
