Promise Me Something by Sara Kocek
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I was given this book to read from Net Galley by Albert Whitman & Company to give an honest and open review.
This is a YA book, I know I am middle aged but I love it!
There was so many topics in this book which made it a wonderful read for everyone let alone young adults. I would recommend this book to every young person and every older person to help and remember what it was like to be younger.
The author touched on subjects that are so dear to us. WONDERFUL read.

Reyna's plan is to keep her head down, help her father recover from the car accident that almost took his life, and maybe even make some friends. And then Olive Barton notices her. Olive is not exactly the kind of new friend Reyna has in mind. The boys make fun of her, the girls want to fight her, and Olive seems to welcome the challenge. There's something about Olive that Reyna can't help but like.
