Murder of an Oil HeiressMurder of an Oil Heiress by Candy Ann Little
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was gifted this book as an ARC by the author Candy Ann Little. I've been waiting to add my review.

I loved this book, I love how POWER goes to people's heads and when it come's to family, you get greed, pride and all sorts of emotions coming to the fore.

The beautiful Mallory Dillingham is said to be the one to take over the family business, and boy, does she know it. The trouble is, her Father said, when he retires! she cannot wait for then, she's in a rush to get her beady little hands on her father's business and money NOW. She finds and does all sorts to plot and get her hands on it. She will stop at nothing, nothing and no one is going to get in her way. Oh now, she's like a horse with blinkers on, the only way is forward.

Like a fly to a spiders web comes Joseph Barnes he is now trapped, will he get out from under her and break free, will he see what she is doing? will he stop it? will he survive.

Its a fast paced adventure, I loved it.
